Construction Injury, Dog Fight: Needham Police Log

December 5

A Needham Business reported to the police that one of their employees had forged a check and cashed it without their permission. Needham Police are investigating.

2:00 a.m. - An officer pulled a vehicle over on Charles River Street. After a brief investigation the operator, a 23-year-old Boston resident, was issued a summons for uninsured operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle after revocation.

11:40 a.m. - An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Great Plain Avenue near Pickering Street. The vehicle was displaying amber and white flashing lights in violation of state law. As a result of the traffic stop, a 29-year-old man from Connecticut was issued a summons for for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, improper display of white/amber lights, and no license in possession.

1:00 p.m. - A Grosvenor Road resident stated that some prescription drugs were taken from his home on Dec. 5. The matter is under investigation.


December 7

11:37 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Peacedale Rd address for a person injured on a construction site. The party was transported and OSHA was notified of the incident.

December 9

2:40 p.m. - An officer responded to a Hillside Avenue address for a report of a dog fight. All parties were spoken to and the aggressor dog was put on a 10-day quarantine.
