Cop Log: Van Backs Into Person On Chestnut; Fight Ensues at Roche Brothers

At 8:10 a.m., a resident from Emerson Road brought in some mail that was found on the street.
At 3:39 p.m., police visited a residence on Ardmore Road for a report of past suspicious activity. The suspicious party turned out to be a former resident
At 3:50 p.m., an Edgewater Drive resident reported a check had been stolen from a letter that was previously stolen his mailbox

AT 7:45 a.m., police responded to the area of Highland and Mellen Street for a two-car crash with no injuries.
At 10:15 a.m., police responded to Oak Street to take a report from a Charlestown resident who reported that someone had hit the front of her vehicle and left the scene
At 10:15 a.m., police responded to Oakland Street to take a report from a Charlestown resident who reported that someone had hit the front of her vehicle and left the scene
At 12:20 p.m., police responded to Anthony’s Barber Shop for a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a car. When officers got there, they spoke to the driver of a van who said he was parallel parking on Chestnut Street and backed into the pedestrian, knocking him to the ground. The victim was ok and declined medical attention.
At 4:03 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at Roche Brothers, where there was a fight inside. Both men were located and a report was filed
