Cops: Man Mad About Food Selection; Construction Worker Ditches Job

At 12:30 a.m., police saw a car traveling on Highland Ave. and head through a red light. Then, the car drove off the road and up onto the dirt on the side of the road. Police conducted a field sobriety test, and arrested Kendra Cox, 26, 11 Conocohockena, PA, for operating under the influence of alcohol.At 8:50 a.m., place stopped a sedan on First Ave. The 26-year-old Boston man was cited and will be summonsed for operating after suspended license. At 10:50 a.m., police responded to Hillside Ave. for a report of disturbance. Police talked to a person at the residence, the Needham Community Council, and said he was upset because of the food selection. He was advised not to come back. At 1:01 p.m., a driver reported that her car was struck while unoccupied, parked in the rear lot of 910 Highland Ave. At 6:07 p.m., a resident visited headquarters to report fraud. A construction company took this person’s deposit and never finished the job.
