Cops: Nephew Steals Car; $11,000 in Credit Card Fraud; Arrest for Larceny, Drugs
The following are excerpts from the Needham police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Sept. 21
At 7:26 p.m., police responded to 267 Marked Tree Road for a report of credit card fraud. The Needham resident said that he had his credo card information stolen earlier in the week and the person charged $11,000
At 7:38 p.m., police responded to the area of Captain Robert Cook for a report of a stolen bicycle that was unsecured in the rear of the Subway parking lot
At 10:20 p.m., police responded to Fuller Brooke Ave. for a report of a house alarm. A car was missing from the driveway. It was determined that the nephew, a 21-year-old Dedham resident, had taken it without permission and he will be summonsed to court.

At 9:08 a.m., police responded to a Freemont Street business (Brian’s Garage) for a report of a B&E. The business’s key drop box was forced open and the contents were removed

Sept. 21, 2:55 p.m. Ruth A. Murphy, 54, 65 Cornell St., Roslindale, arrested and charged with larceny and possession of Class B substance
