Cops: Stolen Bench; Underage Drinking Arrest; Car Break
The following are excerpts from the Needham police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.
Thursday, July 17
- At 10:45 p.m., police arrested David Eldridge, III, 38, 171 Old Cambridge Road, Woburn, with violation of a restraining order
Saturday, July 19
- At 12:27 a.m., police spotted a suspicious car in a parking lot at a Kendrick Street business. Five males were in the car. After an investigation, a 19-year-old Needham man will be summonsed to Dedham District Court and charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol
- At 10 p.m., a 42-year-old Harris Ave. resident reported items taken from her car while it was parked in her driveway. The break occurred between noon and 1 p.m. A prescription, phone charger and $20 cash were taken from the vehicle. The car was unlocked.
- At 6:20 a.m., police responded to a Marked Tree Road residence for a reported B&E in to the detached garage. A bike had been taken and left on the front lawn of the property. No damage was found.
- At 9:25 a.m., a resident on South Street reported that an $800 teak bench was missing from his property
