Crash Leads to OUI Arrest; Two Women Report Suspicious Men; Stolen Apples

Thursday, Sept. 18
- At 11:30 a.m., police responded to Chestnut Street at Southfield Court for a report of a deer struck by a car. The deer was so severely injured that it had to be put down.
- At 5:10 p.m., police responded to a car crash on Dedham Ave. with no reported injuries. Roberta Regan, 49, 30 Minot St., Dorechester, was arrested and charged with OUI, as well as a warrant
- At 10:10 p.m., police responded to a Webster Street address for a report of a suspicious person. The woman who called said she was crossing Dedham Ave. at Webster Street around 3 p.m. when she was approached by an older male, possibly in his 60s. The man beeped twice and motioned to her to come to him.
Friday, Sept. 19
- At 10:05 a.m., police responded to Encompass on 65 4th Ave. for a report of a suspicious person. The reporting person said that the man drove an older model mid-sized black pickup truck and was driving by slowly and staring in the direct of the children under her car. The man was described as a white male, balding, with a mustache.
- At 12:50 p.m., a resident reported that items were stolen from her car while she was shopping
- At 5:30 p.m., police responded to a Carelton Drive residence on a report of trespassing. The homeowner said that around 4 p.m. on the day prior, someone went on her property and picked off most of the apples from two trees. A neighbor questioned the person and they said that they are house cleaners for the Bridle Trail resident.
