Dedham American Legion Band performing in several parts of Mass!!

Thanx to the support of Dedham Saving, The Dedham American American Legion Band, Post 18 will be able to do 4 performances. The Band first performed starting at 12pm on Saturday November 6th for Boston's Veterans Day Parade, and than on Sunday started at 11:45 at Bourne National Cemetery for a Veteran's Day Ceremony.

The Band will also be performing at 2 more ceremonies this week. First, they will starting playing at 9:30am and continuing play from 10am-12pm on Wednesday November 10th during a Veteran's Breakfast to honor Veterans at the U.S.S. Jacob Jones VFW Post 2017 at 84 Eastern Ave in Dedham. The Final performance will start at 10:30am on Thursday November 11th for the Veteran's Day Ceremony at Memorial Park 92 Rosemary Street in Needham, MA

The Band was formed in October 2012 and is always seeking musicians, color guard and band supporters. Its Mission is to service Dedham, Needham and surrounding communities by providing performing groups for ceremonies, concerts, parades and other venues, promote Patriotism, the US Military and Veterans' organizations and provide the opportunity for musical and personal growth of its members.

New members of middle school age and above are welcome.

** American Legion Eligibility is not required.

The membership consists of men and women who enjoy playing music together.

The band will perform parades, concerts, ceremonies and other Venues.

Uniforms, music, percussion, sousaphones provided, other instruments can be provided.
