Drug Possession, Larceny, and More: Needham Police Log
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

May 10
9:40 a.m. - Police were dispatched to an Aletha Road address on report of fraud. The victim reported that fraudulent charges had recently been made on an account which had been fraudulently opened in their name. The victim was advised to report the matter to the three major credit reporting bureaus and to the appropriate federal government agencies.
10:00 p.m. - A Booth Street resident came into the police station to report that she was the victim of an attempted scam. A check was sent to her for over the amount agreed upon for a rental. The sender requested the difference be sent back to him. The resident did not do this. The matter is under investigation.

May 11
8:30 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Great Plain Avenue address on a report of a past larceny. The reporting party stated that earlier in the day, someone stole money from the cash register. The matter remains under investigation.

May 12
7:15 p.m. - Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Kendrick Street. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to front end damage. The operator, a 20-year-old Dedham woman was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
May 13
8:48 a.m. - Officers responded to Rosemary Street for a report of a vehicle hat crashed into a telephone pole. Needham Fire also responded. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver, a 16-year-old Needham man, had only a learners permit and was driving alone. He was issued a citation for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stay within marked lanes. He was issued a summons for those charges.
9:14 a.m. - An Officer responded to a Kimball Street address for a report of vandalism. Some time between 8 p.m. on May 12 and 9 a.m. on May 13, someone kicked out several PVC slats from the fence that runs along the Warren Street side of the victim’s property.
9:30 a.m. - A Needham resident at the police station reported several incidents of check fraud that had been submitted to Bank of America in his name. None of the checks were cashed and the bank is aware of the incident.
1:30 p.m. - An officer responded to a Great Plain Avenue business for a reported larceny incident. The matter is under investigation.
May 14
1:10 a.m. - An officer responded to a Greendale Avenue residence for a report of a one-car crash. After further investigation, a 22-year-old Needham man will be charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and possession of a Class E controlled substance.
