A Presentation on Bullying

On Tuesday, June 15 at 7 p.m., a presentation on bullying will
be held at Commonwealth Learning Center in Needham. One of the
speakers, Elizabeth Barnes, wrote the first interactive family
guidebook on bullying "A Family Guidebook on Bullies, Self-Esteem and Hidden Hurts!."

Barnes, a social worker and Dover resident, offers
parents tools and resources to help their children understand and deal
with bullying. Also presenting are representatives from the
Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council and the Dover Police Department.

The goal of the presentation is to provide parents with information on how to recognize and avoid dangerous, destructive and unlawful online behavior and to learn how to respond appropriately.
