It’s easy to imagine a court jester – the colorful trickster with bells jingling from his floppy hat. But have you ever seen one perform in real time? A rare treat, indeed! Enter the world of the Wise Fool, and take an inspiring journey to medieval times with Alex the Jester. The Needham Free Public Library invites you to join us as we present Alex the Jester in the Community Room on Wednesday, August 24th, at 3:00 PM.
Alex the Jester prefers action to words, from mind bending sight gags to amazing stunts. When he finally clears his throat to speak, his audience is captivated. Rolling off his tongue is a funny sounding gibberish tongue called Grammelot. Come join us on a thrilling journey that your sense of wonder and your funny bone won’t ever forget! The Friends of the Needham Public Library is the sponsor of this final event for the One World, Many Stories Summer Reading Club program.
