On Sunday, February 6th from 9-11 a.m., Temple Beth Shalom (670 Highland Ave.) presents Bagels and Book Talk, featuring a reading and intriguing presentation of Empire Settings by author David Schmahmann.
Schmahmann will discuss the Jewish themes in his book and his experiences growing up in South Africa. He'll also introduce his newly published novel, Ivory From Paradise. Refreshments and bagels will be served.
