Our goal is to bring music into your world with a greater understanding and new found joy with every performance.

Each week we'll provide exciting ensemble material with coached rehearsal time.  This, along with guest speakers and artists who share their expertise provide the perfect environment for a full and well rounded ensemble experience.  Participants will enjoy an interdisciplinary approach while learning about composers and how they think, music editions and what's implied on the printed page.  Coachings will focus on tone, technique, practice skills, ear skills and more; all with a slant based on instinctive body awareness so you can transfer these skills into daily practice.  By the end of the semester, BFA Adult Flute Ensemble participants will know the inside scoop on tricks of the trade and may even begin to notice new things taking place on the stage. Participants will also leave with some new tips for their tool box!
