
Carter Memorial United Methodist Church will host a community yard sale and electronics recycling event on Saturday, May 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Recycling prices range from $5-$20 for your large and small electronics and bicycles are free. Here is a quick list of prices for various items to be recycled:
- Electronics such as monitors, computers, scanners, copiers, etc—$5 each
- Appliances such as dishwashers, dryers, stoves, microwaves, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, AC units; exercise equipment; lawn mowers; small engine items; snow blowers; etc.—$10 each
- TVs less than 19 inches—$10
- TVs larger than 19 inches—$15
- Console/wood—$20
- All household batteries, rechargeable, car etc. (no limit)—no fee
- Adult bicycles—free
Consider purchasing your own table at the yard sale for a $30 donation.

All proceeds from the day will go to help with Tropical Storm Lee and Hurricane Irene clean-up in the Binghamton, NY area.
