Explore the rich world of string chamber music for quintet and sextet with a group of players from A Far Cry, the nationally acclaimed chamber orchestra based in Boston. Sponsored by North Hill, the next evolution in senior living, the program showcases the evolution of chamber music over hundreds of years.

A Far Cry is known for expanding the boundaries of the ways music is prepared, performed and experienced. The True North program takes listeners on a string chamber music journey from Boccherini’s first experiments with the form to Mozart’s game-changing quintets to Tchaikovsky’s sextets.

The seminar is part of the True North Music Series, which investigates how music influences and nourishes our lives and our culture.
