Dancing with the Needham Stars

Prepare to be swept off your feet by Needham 300’s latest big event. Featuring familiar faces, music, competition, food and drink, it’s going to be one of the most popular events by far.

Dancing with the Needham Stars! takes place on March 5 from 7 pm to midnight at Moseley’s on the Charles in Dedham. A panel of local judges will vote for the best among our celebrity dancers who will pair up with professional instructors from Paulette’s Dance Studio and dance everything from the waltz, to the cha cha, to the jitterbug.

Gubernatorial candidate Charlie Baker and his brother Alex, both Needham High grads, State Representative Denise Garlic, Selectman Moe Handel and Town Manager Kate Fitzpatrick are a few of the local celebrities who will grace the dance floor. Other dancers include Needham native and youth coach Realtor Bill Dermody, Realtor Louise Condon, youth coach Jim Stento, Needham High football star Jeff Smith and former Needham High teacher and coach Guna Svendsen. They are busy practicing and putting together their costumes, so come cheer on your favorite.
