The YMCA will host a walk which will start at Newman School and will end at Volante Farms. This will be an approx. 1 mile walk. Lisa Dobbs, Charles River YMCA Personal Training Coordinator, and her staff will lead this walk rain or shine. Families with children of all ages are welcome. Volante's will offer a tour of the farm and/or greenhouses on site and will educate on a variety of topics including vegetable gardening, etc. (Note: Please wear/bring appropriate footwear for touring a farm, since soils could be moist.)
