Movie Night at Temple Aliyah: 'The Powder & The Glory'

“The Powder & The Glory,” a 2009 documentary film that portrays the incredible lives and times of Elizabeth Arden and Helena Rubinstein, will be shown at , 1664 Central Ave., Needham, on Sunday, April 1, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Filmmakers Arnie Reisman and Ann Carol Grossman will be on hand for an introduction and question-and-answer session.

The film tells the story of how Arden and Rubinstein immigrated to America and, starting with next to nothing, created what is today the $150 billion global health and beauty industry.

Light refreshments will be available.
