
The final weekend of Needham's tercentennial celebration will include a slate of activities on Saturday, Nov. 5. Here's a look at the schedule:
12:00-2:00 p.m. La Carnival—circus games for kids on the , including balloon sculptures and face painting
3:00 p.m. Selectmen will formally dedicate the newly refurbished ; enjoy tours of the building and entertainment

5:00-7:00 p.m. Needham 300 will hold a mini gala that precedes the late-night festivities for people who can’t stay out late. It will be held from in the renovated grand hall on the second floor of Town Hall. Tickets for this two-hour, early bird event are $39. Refreshments will be served and the walls of Town Hall will be hung with works by members of the Needham Art Association.
8:00 p.m. Needham 300 Gala will start with registration and champagne at Town Hall. A shuttle will then take participants over to where a huge tent will host 1,000 guests with dancing until 1:00 a.m. There will be a cash bar, live music and hors d’oeuvres. Dress for the event is “creative semi-formal” allowing for those who would like to dress in period attire.

Tickets are $79 and are limited and expected to sell out quickly. They can be purchased by cash or check only and are on sale via www.needham300.org.
