Needham 300 presents the World Premier of its Red Carpet events as Needham High School students take center stage to perform both a play and concert commissioned specifically to celebrate Needham's 300th birthday.
The audience will be treated to an actual Red Carpet and spotlights in the night sky. Semi-formal attire is recommended for these premiere events. A reception will follow each performance.
Needham 300 is a non-profit committee appointed by the selectmen and made up of Needham residents planning a year of festivities to celebrate the anniversary of Needham's founding on November, 6, 1711. These premiere performances were made possible by grants from the Needham Education Foundation, New England Foundation for the Arts and Needham 300.
