Artist Carole Berren will give a watercolor painting demonstration on Yupo paper at the Needham Art Association meeting.
Carole has studied art at RISD, the Corcoran School of Art in DC and the Danforth Museum. She has also studied with several accomplished watercolor artists.
She is an award winning painter and a popular teacher of drawing and watercolor. Her recent work of watercolors on Yupo paper has received national recognition. She has been awarded the Edgar Whitney memorial Award as well as the prestigious CFS Medal in the American Watercolor Society’s International Watercolor Exhibition in New York City.
She is intrigued by the relationship of man to his environment - the similarities and the paradoxes. Some of her paintings can be seen on her website.
