Needham Market welcomes you to Memorial Field. You'll be greeted by the smells of fine food from area restaurants and the sound of music and entertainment as the night time party continues. Shop for Needham 300 souvenirs and retail goods including tee shirt and hats with the Needham 300 logo.
Music will be provided by Needham alumni, teachers and students, including the middle school jazz band. Entertainment includes jugglers, a magician, fire performers and a balloonist. And in the interest of history and continuity, Paulette Dance Studio dancers will perform, a group which also performed at Needham's 250th birthday in 1961.
Why call it Needham Market, you ask? Because Needham originally took its name from a little town in England called Needham Market.
