Needham Night at the Boston Pops Ticket Pick-up

It’s time to pick up you tickets to Needham 300's Needham Night at the Pops. If you have pre-ordered your tickets for the event, they will be distributed at the Needham Historical Society on Central Avenue. Hours for pick up will be Saturday, May 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Friday, May 13, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Please bring a photo identification with you in order to claim your tickets.

There are still about 200 seats at $25 that are still available. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. on June 11 at Symphony Hall. Tickets can be purchased by mail using an order form that can be downloaded from the Needham 300 Web site at www.Needham300.org. Forms are also available at The Needham Bank, Roche Brothers, Sudbury Farms, the town offices and the library. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis and will be distributed based on the post marked date. Questions can be called in to 781-455-7500, ext 452 or e-mailed through the Web site.

The Needham 300 Committee has also announced that the NHS Chorus will be singing at Needham’s Night at the Pops in celebration of Needham’s 300th birthday. Conductor Keith Lockhart and his creative director Dennis Alves are working on a program to commemorate Needham’s long history. It’s the first concert of its kind for the Boston Pops.

Bus transportation is provided for an additional $20. Those who order bus service should meet at St. Bartholomew’s Church parking lot on Greendale Avenue by 6:00 p.m. the night of the concert.

Needham 300 is a non-profit committee made up of Needham residents that is planning a year of festivities to celebrate the anniversary of Needham’s founding on Nov. 6, 1711. Needham Night at the Pops is one of the highlights of the calendar of events, which can also be found on the Web site.
