The New England Youth Performing Group is a student-run organization founded by Iris Zhou to give young performers an opportunity to showcase their talents and to give back to the community. The group's main artists include students from Wellesley High School and Boston Latin School. This group is dedicated to bringing a taste of Asia to American society. Currently, the ensemble includes musical pieces played on both traditional Chinese instruments as well as on Western instruments, folk dances, and a variety of songs and acrobatic performances. We hope to dazzle and delight audiences with its unique blend of Eastern and Western cultures. Refreshments to follow the event. There is no fee for this program. Sign up is required.
