NNCC and BCBS Present: Is Your Data Secure?

Is your data secure? Understanding the new state law for businesses
Does your company store and/or maintain personal information in-house or through a 3rd party vendor, about a resident of Massachusetts?   If so, you need to be aware of this regulation.  The Massachusetts General Law (M.G.L.) Chapter 93H 201CMR17.00 requires that every person or company that owns or licenses personal information about a resident of the Commonwealth shall develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security program.
The best way to ensure your personal safety and to prevent identity theft and fraud is to make sure in-house and any contracts negotiated with companies and 3rd party vendors apply strict safety procedures.
This is a complicated Law from a data aspect and will require changes to existing practices.  This seminar will sift through the complexities and assist companies with defining and implementing these changes.
