The Library Foundation of Needham will sponsor a class for owners of the Nook e-reader (from Barnes & Noble) on Monday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. Meet in the library's Community Room. Ron Neidig, district sales manager at , will demonstrate how to download free books from the library's digital media catalog Overdrive database. This database is provided by the Minuteman Library Network and may be accessed at home.
See what type of books are available through the library's catalog page, library.minlib.net/search. Click the Digital Media Catalog link on the bottom third of the page—enter your library card number (no spaces) and browse through the selections.
