Some old furniture repairs hold up well, while others don't and are costly or impossible to reverse and redo. On Sunday, March 11 at 2 p.m., the Needham Historical Society will present Conservator Melissa Hiatt Carr of Masterwork Conservation, who will talk about “Old Repairs: The Good, The Bad, and the Irreversible.” Carr has worked as a conservator of wooden objects for almost 20 years, the last 10 of which as the owner and lead conservator of Masterwork Conservation.
This presentation is open to the public. Programs are free for members of the Historical Society and $5 for non-members. Refreshments will be served.
