Author Mitali Perkins will be at the on Feb. 12 to talk about her journey as a writer. Books by this Indian-born author, which include "Rickshaw Girl," " Monsoon Summer" and "Bamboo People," feature young people as they discover how to balance different cultures, or how to live with inescapable challenges of their culture. A program for adult and young adult readers, writers and aspiring writers. Books will be available for sale and autograph.
