Parent Talk Lecture: 'Beyond Bossing, Begging and Bribing'

Parent Talk will present the next talk in its lecture series, “Beyond Bossing, Begging and Bribing," on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the  auditorium.

Parenting expert and author Jeanine K. Fitzgerald will lead this talk for parents and educators about communicating more effectively with children. “Beyond Bossing, Begging, and Bribing” will give specific strategies for improving everyday dialogue. Fitzgerald's approach empowers parents and educators to achieve more with their children to set the stage for improved communication. 

Fitzgerald is the owner of the Better Behavior Bureau and author of "The Dance of Interaction: A Guide to Managing Children's Challenging Behaviors." With over 30 years of professional experience, Fitzgerald is known for her engaging and humorous presentations and has lectured across the country and at colleges including Harvard University, Bryant University and the University of Rhode Island.

Registration for the lecture is strongly encouraged. To register, go to www.parenttalk.info and click on “Register for an Event." Admission is free for Parent Talk members, $20 for non-members who pre-pay online (online registration closes one day before the lecture), and $25 at the door. Because of the popularity of some lectures, Parent Talk cannot guarantee availability for walk-ins. No refunds. 

Registration and a dessert reception will begin at 7:00 p.m., with the talk to begin at 7:30 p.m.
