Plugged In Prospective Board Member Reception and Info Session

The Plugged In Board of Directors is holding a prospective board member reception and information session on Wednesday, May 26 from 6:00-7:30 at the Needham Historical Society.

The event is for anyone interested in serving on the board of directors, as well as for those interested in contributing time and skills to Plugged In in other ways.

Along with a brief presentation about Plugged In and its mission, those attending will have the opportunity to speak with current board members, staff, a student from the program, and parents to find out more about Plugged In programming and its impact on local youth, the community and the charitable organizations Plugged In students support.

To RSVP or for more information about the prospective board member event, please contact David Snelling, board president, at david_snelling@bose.com or 617-869-0807.

Please forward this email to anyone you think may be interested.  If there is someone you would like to recommend for the board or as a volunteer, a member of our board can get in touch with them if you would prefer.

Plugged In is a non-profit program teaching kids how to be in rock bands and about using music to better the world.  Three times a year, Plugged In has benefit concerts and the students vote to choose the charitable organization for which the concert will raise money.  Plugged In is about bringing young people together through music, teaching them the importance of using their music to make positive change in the world, and helping them gain self-confidence.
