students will perform "Oklahoma: The Musical" on Thursday, Feb. 9, Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the middle school auditorium. Tickets cost $10.
Oklahoma is a classic Rodgers and Hammerstein show, which is set at the beginning of the 20th century in a U.S. territory on the verge of statehood. Commonly touted as the first great dance musical, Oklahoma features lively numbers, such as "Kansas City" and "The Farmer and the Cowman" as well as the classic standards "Surrey with the Fringe on Top" and "People Will Say We're in Love."
