The will host PuppeTree of Vermont’s presentation of "Caps for Sale" on Thursday, June 28 at 7 p.m., in the Community Room.
This simple folk tale of a hat seller whose inventory of hats is lost to mischievous monkeys while he is napping is told around the world in every culture that has monkeys.
PuppeTree has pulled out all the stops to tell this exciting story through the eyes of seven different cultures, using an engaging variety of puppetry styles to celebrate diversity. Performing with a background of really upbeat world music, the puppeteers are always in full view, as they revolve on a painter’s scaffolding during the performance, sharing their puppet wizardry with the audience. This show is just plain fun.
