Help the Needham Council on Aging and Friends celebrate the conclusion of National Senior Center Month with an outdoor event on Monday, Sept. 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the . More than 40 groups will have tables set up with information about their recreational and educational programs offered through the Senior Center.
Enjoy a barbecue lunch from 12:00-1:30 p.m. and enter free drawings for local restaurant gift cards and gas cards.
Between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., you can update or obtain a Charlie Card, which provides a reduced MBTA fare for anyone age 65 or older or those under 65 who have a disability. Be sure to bring an ID for proof of age to receive the card. Please sign up in advance if you plan to participate in the barbecue.
