SEPAC Presents Sean Sweeney

The Needham Special Education Parent Advisory Council will meet on March 12 at 7 p.m. in the Media Center.

The meeting will open at 7 p.m. with a meet and greet, followed by a presentation at 7:30 p.m. by Sean Sweeney, of the Ely Center. Sweeney will demonstrate an array of web and mobile iOS (iPhone, iPad) tools useful for children with social cognitive deficits. These tools will include web and mobile apps that are useful for visualizing and scripting play and social interactions, building organizational skills, managing behavior and anxiety, and applying cognitive behavioral strategies.

SEPAC is open to all Needham parents interested in special education and related programs.

There is no membership fee to join Needham SEPAC. The group holds monthly public meetings designed to inform parents on issues of general interest and topics specific to Needham.
