'Working'- The Stories of American Workers

High Rock and Pollard Middle Schools announce the upcoming musical production of "Working", February 3-5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Pollard Middle School auditorium.  

Some 60 sixth, seventh and eighth graders will sing, dance, and tell the stories of all types of American workers from the corporate executive to the newsboy to the housewife.  This show, which originally debuted on Broadway in 1978, is based on a best-selling book of interviews with American workers, by Studs Terkel.  In addition to the actors and actresses, dozens of students created the staging, and will be helping behind the scenes to ensure first-class performances.
