The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that the off-ramp from Route 128/I-95 North to Highland Avenue in Needham (Exit 19B) will be closed from 10 p.m., Friday June 2, through 8 a.m., Sunday June 4, in order to allow crews to safely and effectively conduct operations as part of the Add-A-Lane project.
During this time, traffic on I-95 northbound looking to access Highland Avenue westbound will utilize the following detour route:

- Continue on I-95 northbound past Exit 19B
- Take Exit 20 (Route 9)
- Get back onto I-95 South
- Take Exit 19B onto Highland Avenue westbound
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to reach destinations. Those traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers during these operations.
