Fatal Needham Crash Investigation Will Take Time

David Traub, a spokesperson for the DA, said such investigations can take four to six months.

NEEDHAM, MA — It will be some time before we know the cause behind a crash that took the lives of two Needham High School students.

The investigation into the deaths of Talia Newfield and Adrienne Garrido remains ongoing, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's office. The two were struck while crossing Webster Street near Needham High School Feb. 10. Both died from their injuries.

Investigators are focused on two drivers but not much else is known. David Traub, a spokesperson for the DA, said a report from the collision analysis and reconstruction section of the state police can take about four months to be finalize and it's not unusual for it to take up to six months.
