Gas Main Broken in Needham
Roads in the area of the break have been blocked off and homes have been evacuated as a precaution.
NEEDHAM, MA — A gas main has been struck in the area of Hunnewell and West Streets, police said.
At around 10:30 a.m., Needham Police and Fire responded to the area for a reported break. Police say that a construction company puncturing a gas main.
Area roads have been blocked off to prevent traffic entering the area. Several homes in the immediate area have been evacuated as a precaution, police said.
