Goldfish Swim School Opens in Needham

Business to host its grand opening party on Saturday, June 20.

The Goldfish Swim School, a modern aquatics facility dedicated to year-round swim classes for children four months of age and up, is now open for business on Fourth Avenue in Needham.

The new Boston-area school will offer indoor swim lessons and programs to children off all ages. Introductory, beginner and advanced level lessons are available.

On Saturday, June 20, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Goldfish will be hosting a free grand opening party for families at the school. At the party, families will be given a tour of the facility, a chance to participate in an open swim session, enjoy snacks, a balloon artist, face painting and more.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. Needham Business Association board member, Paul Good, and chair of the Needham Selectman, Moe Handel, will be on hand for the ceremony.

“We are excited to be bringing Goldfish Swim School to the Needham community and surrounding towns,” said Sarah Kepic, owner of Needham’s Goldfish Swim School. “As a mom of two boys, I understand the importance of year-round swim lessons and, with our unique, educational teaching equipment and confidence-building curriculum, our goal is for your kids to feel safe in the water ... all with a smile on their face!”

Goldfish Swim School was established in 2006 and is headquartered in Michigan. The school teaches more than 30,000 students per week. Classes are monitored by specially trained instructors in a safe, fun and kid-friendly environment.

The new Needham location will feature a heated indoor swimming pool, small class sizes, recreational swim team training, and a state-of-the-art water purification system.
