Gunshot Reported At TripAdvisor's Needham Office

Police say a bullet went through a window of the building Wednesday morning.

NEEDHAM, MA — No one was injured when a bullet went through a window at the office of a major company in Needham Wednesday morning near the Newton line, say police.

At about 7 a.m., an employee at TripAdvisor on 1st Avenue called police to report a coworker heard gunshots. An officer at the scene confirmed that at least one bullet went through a window on the fourth floor of the TripAdvisor building. Police say the bullet came from outside the building and was recovered at the scene.

Massachusetts State Police ballistics is helping with the investigation, according to police.

Police said they believe this is an isolated incident at this time but are asking for the public's help with the investigation.
