Here's a Look at the 2016-17 Needham School Calendar

NEEDHAM, MA — Less than a month remains of the summer break, which means it’s time to talk about the upcoming school year.

Needham students will head back to class on Aug. 31. Kindergarten students will start school the next day on Sept. 1.

This year, the Jewish high holidays start on Oct. 3 with Rosh Hashanah. Yom Kippur is a week later on Oct. 10. Students will get both days off.

The last day before the winter break is Dec. 23 and the first day back is Jan. 3.

The school district will wrap up the 2016-17 school year on June 15 if no snow days are used and June 22 if all five built-in snow days are used.
