Jumping Monkeys Come to Needham Library

Singer-songwriter Vanessa Trien brought her special brand of music to a local audience in April.

More than 300 kids, parents, grandparents and friends came to sing and dance with Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys at the Library Foundation of Needham-sponsored program in late April.

They were not disappointed.

Vanessa and her team had the Needham Library Community Room crowd clapping their hands and "driving" their cars.

"It was a very animated crowd," said reference librarian/program specialist Gay Ellen Dennett.

The engaging vocals and enthusiastic entertainers had the packed room on its feet joining the parade for "Carnival Game."
