Keeping the Beat at Needham Library [VIDEO]

Otha Day, founder of "Drum to the Beat," brought a variety of African drums to the for a hands-on presentation on Wednesday, July 27, part of the library's summer reading program, "One World, Many Stories." Children and parents learned how to keep a beat, sang and danced along to the music and learned the words and motions to an African welcome song, "Funga Alafia."
