Kristen Johnson named Marketing Manager at Direct Federal Credit Union in Needham

Needham, Ma, issued APRIL 11, 2016…Direct Federal Credit Union (www.direct.com) has named Kristen Johnson of Franklin to the position of Marketing Manager.

Johnson joins Direct Federal’s Leadership Team where her responsibilities will include directing the growing credit union’s ongoing marketing initiatives including public relations, advertising and social media. Before joining the Direct Federal team, she was an Account Manager for the Needham-based advertising agency Baldwin/Clancy/Rogan (BCR) for more than seven years. During her tenure, she worked with a number of financial service clients, assisting with strategy and message development, marketing communications and project management.

Johnson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island.

“My work in advertising and marketing with different financial institutions was great training for my role here at Direct Federal,” she said, adding, “This is a very forward-thinking financial institution and I look forward to helping them tell their story.”
