Larceny, Vehicle Break-In: Needham Police Log

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

January 12

11:00 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Central Avenue address for a reported past larceny from a residence.

1:00 p.m. - An officer pulled a vehicle over on Great Plain Avenue at Marked Tree Road. After a brief investigation the operator, a 59-year-old Needham man, was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

January 13

12:21 a.m. - An officer responded to a Highland Circle address for a report of a past motor vehicle break. The reporting party stated that at some point during the day he was the victim of a motor vehicle break. The incident is still under investigation.

3:40 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to the area of Ferndale Road for the report of a noise disturbance. After subsequent investigation, a 57-year-old Needham man was taken into protective custody and was transported to his residence and left with a responsible adult.

6:30 a.m. - An officer responded to a Central Avenue address for a report of a deer that had been struck by a motor vehicle. The animal was in obvious distress and was unable to move. Based on the condition of the animal, it was euthanized to prevent it any further suffering.

1:40 p.m. - A resident of Tudor Road reported his identity had been stolen. Credit card agencies are investigating.

5:00 p.m. - An officer made a motor vehicle stop for an expired inspection sticker. The operator's license status was suspended. The operator, a 26-year-old Dedham male was cited and issued a summons for operating with a suspended license. The registered owner came and retrieved the vehicle.
