From the Needham High Parent Confrence

Lisa Tanzer, president of Life is Good, will deliver the keynote address for the biennial Parent Conference on Feb. 3 at Needham High School hosted by the NHS PTC. Based in Boston, Life is Good was founded by Needham-born brothers Bert and John Jacobs. Lisa’s journey to President of the $100 million lifestyle apparel brand started in 1990 when she joined the Board of Directors of “Project Joy”, a play therapy program started by Steve Gross, also of Needham. Today that program has evolved into The Life is Good Kids Foundation which positively impacts over 1 million kids per year who are facing the impact of poverty, violence and illness. As President of the Life is Good Company and Board Member of the Lifeis Good Kids Foundation, she is able to spread the power of optimism and help kids in need. Lisa, a NeedhamHigh School graduate and recipient of the NHS Distinguished Career Award, will speak on the “Power of Optimism.”

“I am honored to be part of this conference and learn along with the other parents. I, along with the company and social mission, have deep Needham roots which makes this opportunity very special.” Tanzer says.
