Man Caught with Pants Down at Needham Bus Stop

A 62-year-old man was placed into protective custody for indecent exposure.

Police responded to the Needham Junction bus stop on Chestnut St. at 10:24 a.m. on Dec. 3 for a report of a man not wearing pants.

As officers arrived on the scene, the man in question, a 62-year-old Needham resident, attempted to pull up his pants. The man then told officers that he was waiting for the bus.

Officers noted a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the man's breath, and that he was unsteady on his feet and slurring speech. They also observed numerous empty beer cans in the party's bag.

Due to the man's intoxicated condition and inability to care for himself he was placed in protective custody and transported to the police station. Police also filed complaints against the man for indecent exposure.
