Man Jailed After Stealing $130K from Elderly Woman
A Norfolk Superior Court jury found Radoslaw Czerkawski guilty of larceny.

A man accused in the “Puppy Doe” dog abuse case was sentenced to prison Tuesday on charges he stole $130,000 from an elderly woman he was watching over, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office.
A Norfolk Superior Court jury found Radoslaw Czerkawski, a 34-year-old Polish immigrant, guilty of larceny. He’ll serve three to five years behind bars, according to a judge’s ruling.
District Attorney Michael Morissey says Czerkawski stole the money from 95-year-old Janina Stock. Czerkawski was hired by Stock’s family to provide care because of his similar Polish background.

Morrissey says Czerkawski robbed Stock of $130,000 right before she died of natural causes.
Czerkawski is also accused of abusing a one-year-old pit bull. The dog was eventually put down as a result of his actions and nicknamed “Puppy Doe” by police. The dog was found abandoned near Stock’s home.
