Man Injured In Roof Fall, Stolen Bike, And More: Needham Police Log

May 15
1:00 p.m. - An officer responded to a Highland Avenue business for a disturbance between current and former employees over a paycheck. The former employee came to pick up his check without his required key to the business. The key was found in the back room and the employee was given his paycheck. He left the business without incident. No charges are being sought.

11:00 p.m. - An officer observed some tagging on the Rail Trail. There appeared to be recent spray paint tagging town property.
4:00 p.m. - An officer responded to Claxton Field for a report of a car fire. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was extinguished.

4:15 p.m - An officer was dispatched to a Bridle Trail Road address for a worker that fell off the roof. A male party was observed lying on his back on the ground in obvious pain. Officers rendered medical care until Needham Fire arrived and took over care.
May 17
9:00 a.m. - A walk-in reported that his bike on Hillside Avenue was stolen. The matter is under investigation.
10:40 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Sachem Road address for a report of neighbor trouble. After a brief investigation, it was determined that no criminal acts had occurred and both parties were advised to avoid interacting with each other.
