Melissa Rudman, Temple Aliyah’s New Executive Director
Former executive director of Canton's B'nai Tikvah will manage Temple Aliyah's day-to-day operations, among other responsibilities.

Temple Aliyah is delighted to welcome Melissa Rudman as the congregation’s first Executive Director. In partnership, with Rabbi Perkins, Cantor Gloth, and other professional and lay leadership, Melissa will be responsible for managing the synagogue budget and its physical plant, supervising the administrative personnel, and managing the day-to-day operations of the synagogue. Melissa comes to Temple Aliyah after serving as Executive Director/Director of Congregational Learning at B’nai Tikvah (formerly Temple Beth Abraham) in Canton, where she worked for the past 15 years.
Melissa began her career as an elementary school teacher, working at Jewish day schools in both the Chicago and Boston areas. She then served as a Family Educator at Temple Beth Abraham, earning her Certificate in Jewish Family Education at Hebrew College. She then became Temple Beth Abraham’s Director of Congregational Learning. As the needs of that congregation evolved, Melissa was asked to take on more responsibility and eventually was appointed Temple Beth Abraham’s first Executive Director.
