Missing Employee, Dog Hit By SUV: Needham Police Log

November 20
10:50 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Highland Avenue address for a report of a past incident of a motor vehicle crash involving property damage. After checking security camera footage, a 52-year-old Newton woman will be charged with leaving the scene of an motor vehicle crash with property
8:00 p.m. - A Needham business owner entered the police station to report debit card fraud. The matter is under investigation.

7:40 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Captain Robert Cook Drive residence to take a report of harassing phone calls. The victim was advised of his options and a report was taken.
11:40 a.m. - A resident of Great Plain Avenue reported that her identity was used to open a Home Depot credit card. Home Depot was notified and the card was cancelled.
6:10 p.m. - An officer was flagged down by an employee of a Great Plain Avenue business who stated that one of her employees was missing and she was concerned for her safety. Upon further investigation the employee was found.
November 22
8:04 a.m. - An officer responded to a Lincoln Street address for a report of damages to a fence on the property. A vehicle struck the fence causing damage and left the scene.
11:34 a.m. - A resident of Valley Road reported she was scammed by someone claiming to be with tech support. They claimed they could fix problems with her computer if she sent them iTunes Gift Cards. She did so. Needham Police and Needham Bank are investigating.
November 23
A dog was hit on Coolidge Ave and the operator of a silver SUV type vehicle did not stop.
